WRITER’S LINK: “Unforgettable”

Hello Islanders!

It’s Tuesday, November 6th, 12:01 AM on the U.S. east coast. It’s time for us to share that which we find unforgettable.

Here is the post to which you can submit, in the ‘comments’ section, your link to your piece now posted on your blog. Remember, post only the link to your work here — not the piece itself… and please make certain your link is accurate.

If you’re new, welcome ashore! The details of ‘How To Come Ashore’ are posted in the sidebar. If you’ve returned, a warm welcome back! Writers Island belongs to us all. Please feel free to let us all know what you want and need on the island to make it an enjoyable and nurturing experience. We all love to hear your suggestions — and each are considered.

Just what is it that you find so deeply imprinted in your heart, or soul — or so absolutely astounding, that you just can’t get it out of your mind… no matter how hard you try?

There is definitely a nip in this November night here on the beach, so everybody get comfortable, and snug in close to the bonfire. There is food and drink for all — the kind that nourishes your spirit. Now, please share with us your most profoundly indelible memory.

ASTOUND US — fellow islanders! 😉

  15. Whew! This was not the poem I had expected to write, and it turned out to be rather tiring to put these words down. I won’t say I hope you enjoy, but, well, here it is.

    Hello Islanders –

The spammers have discovered Writers Island, so I’ve tightened up the incoming security. Some of your comments are getting shuttled into the ‘spam collector’ — but I’m checking often and rescuing them… so if you submit a comment and it doesn’t show immediately, please know it’s not lost.

Please make certain you have your email address on your ‘link comments’ and that it is correct, as well as the address of your link — or you can guarantee to end up in the ‘spaminator’. I’ve been manually correcting some of your link posts to get you through the firewall. I don’t mind, but it slows down your link appearing.

That’s all, except to say that I have quietly launched the Poetry Wave Project.

    Till later… surf safe!

  38. Sorry to hear the spammers are targeting you. They came after my personal blog and I ignored them for about a month. But when they hit Poets Who Blog, it was just too much. I had to do what I didn’t want to and start moderating all comments. Its keeping me busy but the spammers at bay.

Let me know when you have more news about your geurilla poetry project.
