As I hiked down the mountain this evening toward the beach, I noticed that the island trees, at higher elevations, was beginning to change. We have passed the equinox — a new season is upon us. A time of transition has come. We are passing into another cycle.
So, at the beginning of our second month on Writers Island, I chose a prompt that reflects this period of transition. It may appear as a time of change, a new cycle, a second chance, fresh start, rejuvenation… maybe you feel it happening around you… perhaps within you — however you see it or feel it, that’s how you should share it.
I see we continue to be fortunate to enjoy new visitors to the island each week. Bravo — that’s wonderful. I trust we welcome these new beachcombers as they come ashore. Lets all continue to get better acquainted, and enjoy the wonderful writings shared here each week.
The prompt for this fifth week invites us to look at things with fresh vision… with an eye to new possibility. It should be very exciting to discover each of our interpretations.
